Content Engine and Database. CCS has taken a dynamic, forward-thinking approach to the way the content is stored. The Company has chosen to look at all information as objects, rather than static documents. For example, a health condition consists of an introduction, signs and symptoms, clinical lab assessments, treatment options, etc. These are all independent items, linked to a master health condition object. They can be referenced individually, as a group or as an aggregate. All content has been developed to be portable and granular. This makes it easy to provide clients with customized output based upon their needs. If a client wants specialized views, such as: "All health conditions that have Coenzyme Q10 as a nutritional supplementation option", "We want to display all the signs and symptoms of the disease states only", or "We want to display only herbal treatment options for each health condition", these requests can be honored with minimal customized development templates.

The original database structure was designed to be XML compliant so that as internet connectivity of mobile devices and the advent of web services becomes more popular, modules can be quickly and easily deployed that can push the content to clients in a multitude of formats and styles.

This same tagging ontology and database structure is consistently used to organize, manage and power the broader consumer empowerment platform.
